Wednesday 20 October 2010 - Annual General Meeting
The 30th Annual General Meeting of Warrington Advanced Motorists was held at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton. Fiona Soutar was elected as Secretary, replacing Roy Nelson who held the post for a number of years and has given sterling service to the Group. Also retiring from the Committee was Mike Mercer, who has served on it for many years. Both Roy and Mike have played important roles in the efficient way our Associate and Observer training is conducted. Joining the Committee were Len Butler, Ron Davis and Ian Austin. The President for 2010/11 is Chris Givvons. Vice-Presidents for the year 2010/11 are Bryan Moore and Paul Griffiths.

Saturday 7 August 2010 - Road Safety Event at Winwick Road Fire Station
The Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service held an RTC Extrication Challenge, where fire crews from different CFRS stations competed to rescue a casualty from a crash-damaged car. There were also a number of both fun and educational activities for visitors. Warrington Advanced Motorists set up a publicity stand at the caravan and received a visit from someone who looked familiar but wouldn't speak to anyone!
